Secong page. The Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups are launching a Special Visa for foreign entrepreneurial talent! It's Startup Korea Special Visa, D-8-4(S).


Third page. How is this visa different from the existing Technology Startup visa? There are two steps in Startup Korea Special Visa Requirements(D-8-4s). Step 1, Private Evaluation Committee, Evaluate business feasibility and innovation. Step 2, Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Issue recommendation letter. We can attract more foreign talent! And there are also 3 cases in Current Technology Startup visa Requirements(D-8-4). Case 1, Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree (Korea only) and Achieve at least 80 points from the OASIS program. Case 2, Selected as one of the TOP 20 in the K-Startup Grand Challenge. Case 3, Chosen as a recipient for a government startup project with over 30 million KRW. * All three cases require ‘corporate establishment’.


Fourth page. How can I get this visa? Application Process about D-8-4(s). Step 1, Application. Application form, business plan, K-Startup Portal, Global Startup Center website. Step 2, Evaluation. Evaluate business feasibility and innovation, Private Evaluation Committee. Step 3, Recommendation. Issue recommendation letter for special visa, Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Step 4, Visa Application. Visit a local immigration office or overseas diplomatic mission, Recommended applicant (foreign national). Step 5, Visa Issuance. Ministry of Justice.
